RoboMasters
RoboMasters offers Lego robotics and programming camps during the summer. These camps are designed for kids ages 7 and up, depending on the camp. Camps are coached by Rena Hixon.
Meet your Coach

Rena Hixon
Rena received her BS in computer science from the University of Missouri-Rolla, now Missouri S & T. She has her MS and PhD in electrical engineering from Wichita State University. She worked as a software design engineer for eleven years.
She and her husband started a Lego Robotics club for home school students in 2004 to teach engineering principles, emphasizing math and science, to children. She has taught computer sciences classes at Wichita State for over 15 years.
She has been teaching Lego robotics camps for about 15 years. She has coached winning teams for WSU Mindstorms competitions for 16 years. In Fall, 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019 she coached FIRST Lego teams. In 2019, her FIRST Lego team competed in the Legoland Invitational.
